Mosquitos trangenicos acabaran con dengue

Panamá intentará vencer la invasión de dengue, que este año ha recaudado seis biografías, con la próxima independencia de cientos de miles de zancones transgénicos para infertilizar a las hembras que transmiten esta disculpa y así detener el progreso del mal, informó este martes el Ministerio de Salud (Minsa). El principal de Salud del Minsa, Carlos Gálvez, dijo a la Afp que "esta táctica científica ha consagrado resultados positivos en Brasil e Islas Caimán". El esquema es enfilado a extremo por el Instituto Gorgas de Investigaciones Tropicales, con ubicación en Panamá. Desde enero de 2013 se han conservado 3.577 acontecimientos de dengue en Panamá, con 6 heridas inevitables por dengue hemorrágico y 11 graves. Cinco cualquieras fallecieron entre octubre y diciembre y una en 2014. Gálvez explicó que "los zancones machos hábiles genéticamente tendrán borne con las hembras, que son las que transmiten el dengue, luego de lo cual ésta pondrá huevecillos infertilizados que no producirán mas zancones transmisores" de la dolencia. "Los zancones transgénicos no representan un riesgo para los bondadosos, dado que no se alimentan de mortandad sino de frutas", añadió. El Minsa tiene esquematizado soltar los zancones infertilizados en dos semanas, dijo Gálvez. El zancón transgénico tiene una semana de historia, mientras tanto que el insecto oriundo posee un ciclo natural de edad de un mes, añadió el bastonero de Salud del Minsa.
